Thousands of individuals go through domestic abuse every day. Seeking assistance is a big step for victims and when surveyed about the challenges they faced, the below were the most common:
“Complicated and confusing legal process differing by state”
“I don’t know where and when to go. Who do I talk to?”
“There are long waiting periods when I’m at the center/organization”
“Very cumbersome process to submit the required documents”
The Goal
Code Purple is a consolidated app that empowers victims to easily understand the legal assistance options they have and supports them as they progress through the process of getting help.
